Ved Parkashthe first frame

Cinematographer · Documentary Filmmaker · New Delhi

Before VedDigital was an agency, it was a lens — and the man holding it was present for the making of a country.

Ved Parkash spent his working life behind a camera, at a moment when a newly independent India was deciding what it looked like. He was there for the funerals and the parades, the founding ceremonies and the ordinary streets in between.

He was also, improbably and repeatedly, somewhere else entirely — on a Hollywood soundstage, in a room with the most famous band in the world. The through-line was never the subject. It was the eye.

The agency carries his name because it carries his standard: that an image is worth making only if it will still hold up in fifty years. That is where Building Brands For Eternity comes from. Not a slogan about longevity — a working instruction, inherited.
